3 Night Idukki

Day 1 – Arrival in Munnar

Once you arrive at cochin  at Cochin Airport or Railway Station , we will pick up from the Cochin Airport or Railway Station and drive you to Munnar directly. Begin your journey with a visit to the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history and process of tea production in Kerala. Continue to the picturesque Tea Gardens, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills and lush green landscapes. Later, visit Blossom Hydel Park for a peaceful stroll surrounded by colorful flowers and natural beauty. In the evening, explore the local markets famous for homemade chocolates, aromatic spices, and handcrafted souvenirs before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Explore the Beauty of Munnar

After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and spectacular mountain scenery. Continue to Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride surrounded by scenic hills and forests. Later, visit Echo Point, known for its fascinating natural echo phenomenon, followed by the tranquil Kundala Lake, a perfect destination for boating and photography. End the day at Top Station, one of the highest viewpoints in Kerala, offering panoramic views of the Western Ghats and neighboring Tamil Nadu. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 – Thekkady Wildlife Experience

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, one of Kerala’s most famous wildlife destinations. Enjoy a memorable boat safari on Periyar Lake, where you may spot elephants, deer, bison, wild boars, and a variety of bird species along the forested shoreline. Later, visit a traditional spice plantation to discover the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and other aromatic spices. In the evening, witness a spectacular Kathakali dance performance or experience the ancient martial art of Kalaripayattu before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 – Scenic Idukki & Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the final day of your Idukki tour with a visit to the magnificent Idukki Arch Dam, one of Asia’s highest and most impressive arch dams, set amidst the picturesque Western Ghats. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the reservoir and the surrounding mountain ranges before continuing to Ramakkalmedu, a charming hill station renowned for its cool climate, strong mountain breeze, and spectacular panoramic views of the valleys and wind farms stretching into neighboring Tamil Nadu. If time permits, make a stop at the scenic Kalvari Mount Viewpoint, where you can admire the tranquil reservoirs, rolling hills, and lush green landscapes that define the beauty of Idukki. After a memorable sightseeing experience, proceed to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of mist-covered mountains, sprawling tea plantations, cascading waterfalls, abundant wildlife, aromatic spice gardens, and the serene beauty of Kerala’s high ranges.
