Day 1 – Arrival in Pathanamthitta
Once you arrive at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV), Chengannur Railway Station, Thiruvalla Railway Station, our representative will receive you and proceed for local sightseeing. Begin your journey with a visit to the renowned Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple, one of Kerala’s oldest and most revered temples, famous for its unique architecture and cultural significance. Continue to Aranmula Village, celebrated for its traditional metal mirrors (Aranmula Kannadi), centuries-old craftsmanship, and rich cultural heritage. Later, visit the historic Pandalam Palace, closely associated with the legend of Lord Ayyappa and the Sabarimala pilgrimage. In the evening, enjoy authentic Kerala cuisine before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Nature & Eco Tourism
After breakfast, travel to the scenic Gavi Eco Tourism, a pristine forest destination nestled within the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes, lush forests, serene lakes, and opportunities to spot elephants, deer, exotic birds, and other wildlife. Later, visit the beautiful Perunthenaruvi Waterfalls, where cascading waters and tranquil surroundings provide a perfect setting for relaxation and photography. Day 3 – Pilgrimage & Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the world-famous Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple (subject to seasonal opening and pilgrimage schedule), one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in India. If Sabarimala is not accessible during your visit, you may instead explore the Konni Elephant Training Centre, where you can learn about Kerala’s long-standing tradition of elephant conservation and management.
