Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
Arrive at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. Explore the highlights of Kochi, including Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Marine Drive. Overnight stay in Kochi.
Day 2: Kochi to Alappuzha
After breakfast, drive to Alappuzha, the “Venice of the East.” Check in to a traditional Kerala houseboat and enjoy a relaxing cruise through the scenic backwaters, lush paddy fields, and peaceful villages. Experience authentic Kerala cuisine onboard and enjoy an overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 3: Alappuzha to Kumarakom
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Kumarakom. Visit the beautiful Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (seasonal), enjoy the serene Vembanad Lake, and relax at your lakeside resort. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 4: Kumarakom – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the resort and, depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some leisure time before transferring to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Kerala’s backwaters and natural beauty.
